XXIX Peruvian Chemistry Congress – 85 Anniversary of Peruvian Chemical Society
The Peruvian Chemical Society hosts the Peruvian Chemistry Congress biennially. The main goal of this event is the dissemination of development in chemistry to faculty members and students, as well as professionals that work in industries related to chemistry in Peru. This year, the PCS is organizing the 29th edition and, since PCS is celebrating its 85th anniversary, the reach is enlarged to the Ibero American level in order to count on the participation of students and professionals of these countries, especially those with close ties to Peru.
The Ibero American Chemistry Congress has the purpose of offering a series of lecturer on the latest developments in various chemistry topics, such us: nanosciences and nanotechnology, corrosion and catalysis, green chemistry, natural products, food and nutrition, medicinal chemistry, environment. It covers analytical chemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry, physico-chemistry, chemical education, and others.
The Congress includes short courses, symposia, round tables and a QUIMITEC showroom. Two round tables are planned on the theme of “Industry in Peru and its perspectives into bicentenary (2021)”; the first round table is about energy, fuels, mining, plastic, cement and the second about pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, cosmetics and cleanness products.
