Each year IUPAC endorses a large number of independently organized conferences, symposiums and workshops that cover a wide range of specialized topics in chemistry. Endorsement by IUPAC attests to the quality of the scientific program and indicates the host country’s assurance that scientists from all countries may participate. The conference must be located in a country represented in IUPAC by a National Adhering Organization. See program details.

CANCELLED !! 10th International Symposium on Molecular Order and Mobility in Polymer Systems

  • This event has passed.

The 10th International Symposium “Molecular Order and Mobility in Polymer Systems” , MOMPS-X, will be held by the Institute of Macromolecular Compounds of Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg, Russia, 23-27 May 2022.
This conference was initially planned to be held from May 18-22, 2020, first postponed to May-June 2021, and ultimately rescheduled to be held in May 2022.

The main aim of the Symposium is to bring together scientists and young researchers, as well as scholars, working in the field of polymer chemistry and physics to exchange and share their experience and research results. Special attention will be focused on the functional and “smart” polymer systems and their properties important for applications in the engineering, electronics and biomedicine. Traditionally for this symposium complex stimuli-responsive nanostructured and “soft”-ordered polymer systems preserving a pronounced molecular mobility will be considered.
